Carlos Vasallo president of America CV Network receives important award in Spain

Carlos Vasallo, president and co-owner of America CV Network received the title of Excellence Gallega in communications, one of the most important recognitions in Spain based on his career and professionalism in different areas including , communication, art, sport and social action.

“It is a great honor to receive this award. I’m committed to continuing my work with renewed strength and keep fighting to sustain a high degree of excellence in all my projects,” said Vasallo.

The awards took place in Barcelona on July 8th during the 13th annual gala of the Association of Galician businessmen in Catalonia (AEGA-CAT). Julio Fernández, president of the organization, hosted over 250 guests on behalf of five hundred companies and relevant institutions of Spain. Alberto Núñez Feijóo, president of the Xunta de Galicia was also present.

The distinction was awarded to Vassallo for his tenure of decades in television, cinema, theatre and concerts both in Spain and Latin America as well as in the United States. In each of these fields, Vasallo has been a pioneer leaving a mark by his capacity in management and innovative willingness. His name is associated with companies and projects on both sides of the Atlantic that remain as milestones of administrative success, developing trends and building business with a unique profile.

Under the direction of Vassallo, America CV Network became a fundamental presence of Spanish-language television in the United States, growing its outstanding competitive position in the market and gaining an audience of millions of viewers in South Florida, New York, and Puerto Rico.
