Castalia Communications announced an agreement with Aguascalientes Tourism Board. They will co-produce with TV and Radio of Aguascalientes and it’s affiliate Mexicanal Productions a docu-reality program based on La Feria de San Marcos 2019.
This 2019 special – also known as Feria de Mexico – is currently ongoing. The objective is to bring this important event to the US, Latin American and European audiences across many platforms for maximum awareness of the event. The event included the Secretary of the Aguascalientes Tourism Board and president of the Feria Organizing Committee, Jorge López Martín; the Director of Aguascalientes Radio and TV, José Luis Márquez; Luis Torres Bohl, president of Castalia Communications y Ana Lydia Montoya Herrera, general manager of Mexicanal.
“This is, without doubt, a great opportunity to showcase the biggest fair in Mexico and Latin America to an international audience featuring the best performers in music, culinary arts as well as the traditions and customs of Mexico,” explained Torres-Bohl, president of Castalia and Mexicanal Productions.
The fair has 190 years of tradition. This year it is taking place April 20-May 12, 2019. The production agreement between Castalia, Aguascalientes TV, and Mexicanal Productions, will amplify the reach of the fair allowing a new audience to enjoy the event from the comfort of their home. It will also allow those who have previously enjoyed the event live to relive and enjoy the experience through this special program.
