Casting Workbook is a company devoted to connecting casting directors, producers, managers, and actors in the same place through the technology 100% created by its founder and CEO, Susan Fox.
“The company has been in the market for almost 30 years. We started in Canada and are already in 60 different territories. Two years ago, we decided to enter the Hispanic and Latin American market, and since then, we have had a presence in Spain, Mexico, and now Colombia. The idea is to continue growing and entering new markets in the region, starting with a big market like Argentina and at some point Brazil, where we would have to get away from Spanish,” said Fox.
She mentioned that even though it was their first time in Content Americas, they had an agenda full of meetings. “Since we spotted the event and knew that all the people from Latin America we wanted to meet would be here, we decided we had to come.”
“We thought we would have the time to make a big announcement regarding the region here at this fair but it didn’t happen, so as soon as we finish closing we will be giving important news for our company, obviously related to these Spanish-speaking territories” she noted.
