Centroamérica TV airs first co-production reality show Calle 7 with leading Salvadoran broadcaster TCS

Centroamérica TV will launch its first competitive reality series {Calle 7 El Salvador;www.produ.com/television/videos/index.html?Noti=10655} on Monday, February 29th at 8pm ET/5pm PT. The network is partnering with the leading Salvadoran broadcast network group TCS (Telecorporación Salvadoreña) to bring the highly successful Latin American franchise to Central American audiences in the United States. Calle 7 El Salvador will air every Monday through Friday on Centroamérica TV. Calle 7 is based on a TVN Chile format.The unscripted reality features twenty competitors, ten men and ten women, divided into two teams competing in a series of physical challenges testing strength and agility. Over the course of four months, contestants will be eliminated until only one man and one woman remain. Each will take home a combined cash prize of US$15,000. “We are extremely excited to team up with TCS to bring US audiences our new series Calle 7.This format has been an enormous hit throughout Latin America and we are confident it will be a great success among our viewers,” said Francisco Giménez, general manager of Networks for Hemisphere Media Group, Centroamérica TV’s parent company.
