Cine Estelar and Cine Nostalgia celebrate Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day with blockbuster films repertoire

Cine Estelar and Cine Nostalgia on May 5th and around the celebration of Mother’s Day on Sunday May 8th will be presenting a repertoire f blockbuster films which includes some of the best romantic drama and comedy films of Me xico and Latin America.“Our film variety in the month of May will begin with the celebration of May 5th and a tribute to all mothers on their day. Mothers are the cornerstone of society and we express our gratitude on the screen of Cine Estelar and Cine Nostalgia in Mother’s day” said Carlos Vasallo, president and CEO of Cine Estelar and Cine Nostalgia. A sample of Cine Estelar film repertoire on May 5th include: El Mexicano with Tere Velázquez and Jorge Rivero; La Vuelta del Mexicano with Elsa Aguirre and Jorge Rivero, and El Mexicano Feo a comedy starring Raul Ramírez and Marcela Davilland.Cine Nostalgia will show the following productions on May 5th: Furia Roja with Arturo de Córdova and Sarita Montiel, the mishaps of a mother and protection that ultimately is given by the Juaristas guerrillas; Caballería del Imperio with Joaquín Pardavé, Julián Soler y René Cardona, and Carlota, Emperatriz de México with Medea de Novara and Lionel Atwill.Cine Estelar will also exhibit the following productions with occasion of Mother’s Day: Mamá Solita starring Pedrito Fernández and Pedro Armendáriz; La Madrecita a comedy starring La India Maria and Pancho Córdova; La Loca de los Milagros a love story starring Vicente Fernández and Libertad Lamarque; Hijazo de mi Vidaza with Sasha Montenegro and Enrique Cuenca; and El Día de las Madres’ a drama starred by Amparo Rivelles and Joaquín Cordero, where a mother tries to marry her four daughters.And Cine Nostalgia will celebrate Mother’s Day with the following productions: Mi Madre es Culpable starring Córdova Arthur and Marga López; Mi Madrecita starring Sara García and Julián Soler; Los Hijos de María Morales with Pedro Infante and Antonio Badú; El Pecado de una Madre with Libertad Lamarque and Dolores del Río and Cuando Los Hijos se Van starring Alberto Vázquez and Amparo Rivelles.
