Cinelatino will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a robust campaign that includes some of the biggest and most recent blockbuster hits from across Latin America, Mexico, and the Caribbean throughout the month of October.After launching in Mexico in 1993, Cinelatino introduced a U.S. signal in 1999, making it the first Spanish-language film channel in the U.S.Its an honor that viewers have welcomed us in their homes for the past 20 years said James M. To thank them, we have assembled an unbeatable programming package throughout the entire month of October that includes a mix of box office megahits and critically-acclaimed premieres.Cinelatino will offer nine new first-run premieres in October, among them Salvando al Soldado Pérez (Saving Private Pérez); Cinco Días sin Nora (Five Days without Nora); and ABC: Nunca Más (ABC: Never Again).Cinelatino has also gathered several dozen of the top-performing Caribbean movies to air in a special daytime programming block to appeal to the massive U.S. Caribbean Hispanic population. Some titles include I Love Bachata; La Última Noche (The Last Night); and Cristiano de la Secreta (The Secret of the Christian).To complement the programming and reinforce the channels long-standing relationship with the industrys top Latino talent, Cinelatino will air a celebratory campaign featuring special messages and anniversary shout-outs from the biggest Latin movie stars like Gael García Bernal, Dolores Heredia, Diego Luna, Ana Seradilla, Kuno Becker, Manolo Cardona, Ana Claudia Talancón, Mónica Huarte, Fernando Luján, Irene Azuela, and Sebastián Zurita.
