In celebration of the 243rd anniversary of America’s independence, the nation’s leading Spanish-language movie network will air an assortment of the most popular movie titles to light up the box office, beginning on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at 7am ET / 4am PT. Included in the lineup is the U.S. television premiere of blazing box office hit Everybody Loves Somebody.
The third highest-grossing Latin film in the US. in 2016, Everybody Loves Somebody follows the independent and beautiful Clara Barrón (How to Get Away with Murder’s Karla Souza), a young woman who seems to have it all. When she finds herself recruited as a maid of honor in her parents’ wedding, she asks a co-worker to accompany her to the nuptials and pretend to be her boyfriend. But when a former flame (José María Yazpik) reappears amid the festivities, a torn and confused Clara must decide between revisiting the past or opening her heart to new possibilities in this hilarious and heartwarming bilingual comedy. The film will premiere with back-to-back showings on Thursday, July 4, at 9am & 11pm ET / 6pm & 8pm PT.
