The current moment is “key for children´s content” due to the fact that there is a rebirth, it has gained great value and is being reinvented, believes Ailing Zubizarreta, VP of Content Development and Creative Services of Cisneros Media.
“It is a key moment to reach new spaces with children. Moreso with animation that makes everything easier because the production chain was never broken and does not require sets for live-action takes,” comments Zubizarreta.
Mobius.Lab, which continues growing, is a big attention focus for Cisneros Media in the development of these children´s content. “A great deal of entertainment and education content is necessary,” he said.
Zubizarreta says that they started the production of Zumbar (26×5´) (a mix of live-action and mixed media), for Nick Jr. Latin America; for AnimalFanPedia (26×11’) (live-action with an ecological touch) they have several international agreements and just placed 13 episodes on Univision USA.
They continue driving new animation and live-action IP, five of which were recently developed and are being presented to clients like Apple TV, Netflix, Peacock, HBO, among others. Some of these titles are My Birthday Bash (13×30’), Teepee Teddy and The Sitting Bear (26×11’), Doctor Gluon, and His Bots (52×5’) and Bunch-A-Loones (48×5′).
Always trying to be part of the conversation and of reflecting all the children, Zubizarreta announced that they are working on a new project in which one of the characters identifies with the LGBTQ community.
