Jorge Fiterre, partner and founder of Condista together with his partner, Burke Berendes, received the Veinte Award 20 years of Achievement in Hispanic Television in the context of the 17th Annual Summit Hispanic TV Summit in New York.
The awards ceremony, held during the lunch gathering, was presented by Christian Acosta, co-host of LatinX NOW!, bilingual show aired by Telemundo in the US and the signal E! Entertainment in Latin America.
Another award recipient was Peter E. Blacker, Executive VP, Income and Innovation Strategy at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, who received the Award for Executive Leadership in Hispanic Television and Video.
Also, Yvette Peña, who received from the AARP the award for Corporate Leadership in Hispanic Television and Video.
The last awards to be presented at the awards ceremony were the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Hispanic Television and Video Programming for Univision´s República Deportiva, which has been on the air for 20 years. The acknowledgment was received by Félix Fernández and Gonzalo Morozzi from TUDN´s República Deportiva, together with Federico Lariño from Univision who thanked the 200 people who have worked on the show throughout two decades (it was founded in 1999) and its main sponsors: Sprint, Coca-Cola, T-Mobile, and Sony.
