Content Americas has announced it will host the TV Azteca 30th Anniversary Breakfast and The Turkish Drama Gala; celebrating 10 years of success for Turkish content success in Lat Am, as registered buyers pass 350, delegates hit 650, and more high-profile exhibitors sign up.
The two celebrations add to a dynamic mix of conference, extended market floor, Lat Am Copro Pitch, the inaugural North American Hitmakers sessions, and the culmination of the CVeintiuno 100 with a cocktail recognizing 100 of the most influential content executives in the Hispanic market.
The news comes as buyer registration passed 350, with total event delegates passing the 650 mark. With sign-ups pacing ahead of 2023 Content Americas estimates more than 2000 delegates will attend the market in 2024, with a significant increase in international and North American players.
More exhibitors have also been added to the line-up, with All3 Media International, MGE, Eccholine, and Thema, signing in the past week, with many more set to be announced.
The 2024 event is focused on connecting the Lat Am, domestic US, and international businesses to develop new creative partnerships.
The event will kick off with a deep dive into Latin American content trends, with data on the 2024 prospects presented by leading players in the data sector. María Rua Aguete, Senior Research Director, Media and Entertainment, OMDIA; Guy Bisson, executive director & co-founder, Ampere Analysis; Alejandro Rojas, VP of Applied Analytics, Parrot Analytics; Isabel Rafferty, CEO, Canela Media are the first speakers to be announced.
The first judges in the Latin America Copro Pitch have also been confirmed. David Flynn, Head of Global Drama, Wiip; Steve Matthews, Content Partnership executive, Banijay; Erik Barmack, founder, Wild Sheep Content and Karina Dolgiej, VP of Content Sales, BBC Studios Latin America & US Hispanic will be at Content Americas judging the finalists, while also looking for new projects from the market to partner on.
