OTT platform Hulu premiered this Monday, January 26th the series Los Cowboys (10×30’), produced by Corral 360 and its president, Alejandro Corral, who told PRODU he sought to depict the life of Hispanics in the U.S. through a Mexican rodeo tradition known as charrería.“It’s based on the story of a charros association, but focused on the families who practice Mexico’s national sport, the charrería. The idea is to follow them day after day during this activity, but also show their regular lives in the U.S. We portray the double life many Latinos experience in this country,” said Corral. He said OTT platforms such as Hulu, Netflix, and HBO Go, among others, are aligned to a new way of content consumption, “that makes primetime be 24-hours. You consume everywhere, any time you want. We are happy to be with Hulu because it’s a high-quality platform, and we at Corral 360 work to develop quality content that connects with the Hispanic audience.”Lastly, Corral said this platform is also attractive to brands, because, “when they see what people are consuming, they see the importance of being part of the content. For this reality we have the support of Chrysler, Fiat, and Dodge, among others.”
