The new European hub of The Kitchen, located in Madrid, Spain, allows the company to offer 24/7 services for its clients and studios.
“Madrid has proven to be a great central spot in Europe for everything we do. We decided to create a hub – where the material is uploaded and downloaded – where we can check the material as it arrives. If a client sends something without audio, misaligned, or not in good condition, being six hours behind Miami allows us to offer 24/7 operation with our European and Middle Eastern studios and Asia to offer an around-the-clock service that works for clients and our studios,” said Deeny Kaplan, Executive VP of The Kitchen International, in EN VIVO with Ríchard Izarra.
Kaplan said they are proud of what they have achieved as a company. “We began with three people, and now, in our studios, we have more than 100 people in 14 countries. Our headquarters is in Miami. It is important to have Madrid, Spain as the center of our operation in Europe. Our sales office in Europe was launched five years ago here in Madrid with Alexis Cárdenas.”
She noted that with this hub and way of running operations, they have discovered a way in which 24 hours a day become 30 hours. “This is crucial when working with clients from different time zones, especially nowadays when things can happen at any time. You have to be on top of your game, being available and capable of making changes instantly, and this hub allows us to do that.”
