Castalia and Mexicanal Producciones are launching La Casa del Jaripeo Network, a FAST channel with the best of this sport (a form of Mexican bull riding) for fans on both sides of the border, including sports analysis, special events, in-depth interviews with riders and winners, among others.
Las Cantinas de Cornelio is returning with a second season and special guests in each city and cantina, including the actress and singer, Cecilia Toussanint, in Mexico City; guitarist Javier Batiz, in Tijuana, Baja California; and the cartoonists, Jis and Trino, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, among others. Mexicanal also premieres the second season of El Auto de Mi Vida.
Regarding distribution, Mexicanal is currently on Xfinity’s TV everywhere platform and it has just launched on Bell Canada, “which will allow us to reach the second market of Mexican expatriates, offering the best of Mexico to keep this audience connected with their land and culture,” said Demian Torres-Bohl, VP and Executive Producer of Castalia and Mexicanal.
The RTVE signal Clan, which represents Castalia in the US, is now on Sling, expanding the subscriber base. “We are in talks to increase the distribution of this channel that offers entertainment and education in Spanish for the more than 15 million Hispanic kids in the US,” he said.
Castalia is also working with Telecentro Network to help the channel with its distribution and marketing within the US market. “Working together we will offer relevant and current content to some of the largest Hispanic communities in the US with roots in Central America,” he said.
Torres-Bohl also made reference to the platform europa+ that continues to develop B2B distribution agreements with service operators in Latin America. “We recently launched in Argentina with Telecentro and with Claro Brazil, doubling the number of subscribers in the second quarter of 2022. We continue to enrich the programming and expand its distribution in other markets such as Mexico, where we will soon announce a distribution agreement that will significantly increase our base. of subscribers in that market,” he said.
