Carlos Cerutti, general director of the production company Alton River, expressed that the situation will undoubtedly be tough on advertising investment after the pandemic is over. “Mainly for us that are independent producers. We are designing investment packages for our clients that include bonuses, digital and commercial making services”.
He comments that they have currently had to suspend shootings in general, including the staging of MasterChef República Dominicana and the production of Vamos al Play and La Guerra de Los Sexos, all programs they make for Telesistemas canal 11 in the Dominican Republic.
“We are editing previously shot episodes of La Guerra de Los Sexos that is still on the air and are going to repeat the broadcast of the first five episodes of the show,” he added.
He commented that they are already pre-producing the content of the third season of MasterChef with the content team working from their homes. “We are going to redimension our structure and try to use the resources as austerely as possible until the market normalizes,” he explained.
He indicated that as soon as the Dominican government allows flexibility regarding social contact, they are going to start the casting of MasterChef and resume the shootings of La Guerra de Los Sexos.
