Telemundo International Studios and Movistar+ revealed the first teaser of their new international co-production, Dime Quién Soy (9×50’) (Tell Me Who I Am.) Telemundo International Studios has distribution rights for the series in the United States, while the series will premiere in Fall 2020 in Spain on Movistar+.

Created by José Manuel Lorenzo, directed by Eduard Cortés, written by Piti Español, and featuring Goya award-winning actress Irene Escolar in the leading role, Dime Quién Soy is based on author Julia Navarro´s novel of the same name—a literary success that has captivated millions of readers in Spain and a multitude of other countries. This series marks the first time the acclaimed writer has authorized an audiovisual adaptation of any of her works.

Executive producers of the series are Domingo Corral for Movistar+, Marcos Santana for Telemundo International Studios and José Manuel Lorenzo for DLO.

“We are proud to present the trailer for this captivating story which we are sure will make history, together with our partners at Movistar+. This new series is yet another example of the studios’ capacity to create high-quality content for consumption across platform, from linear to digital, mobile, and streaming,” said Marcos Santana, president of Telemundo International Studios and one of the executive producers of the series.

Dime Quién Soy, which covers several countries including Spain, Italy, Greece, Argentina, Russia, Germany, Poland, France, and England, includes a cast of 160 actors and more than 3,000 extras from all over the world. Irene Escolar (Amelia Garayoa) in the main role, followed by Oriol Pla (Pierre), Pablo Derqui (Santiago) and international actors Pierre Kiwitt (Max), Will Keen (Albert James), Maria Pia Calzone (Carla) and Stefan Weinert (Jürgens), bring a cosmopolitan dimension to this story shot in more than 300 locations including real-life locations, stage sets, and digital recreations.

The series is an exciting journey through the 20th century and its most relevant events, seen through the life of Amelia Garayoa, a woman full of contradictions who makes mistakes that she always pays for and ends up suffering through the ruthless scourge of both Nazism and the Soviet tyranny.
