The segment Direct-to-Consumer & International at Walt Disney Company announced it closed global agreements with almost all the main platforms to distribute the Disney+ application on mobile devices and connected TV equipment.
Additionally, they confirmed that Disney+ will be launched in Canada and the Netherlands, as well as in the US (November 12); while in Australia and New Zealand, it will be a week later.
The company pointed out that Disney+ will offer fans of all ages a new way to experience the incomparable content of the company´s iconic entertainment brands, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars National Geographic and more, that will be available in almost all the main mobile and connected TV devices, from the launch, through established global distribution agreements with Apple, Google, Microsoft, Roku, and Sony.
Consumers will be able to subscribe to Disney+ directly or through the purchase of the app and start airing from those associated platforms and devices (depending on the country).
