Leonardo Zimbrón, Head of Fiction Programming at Endemol Shine Boomdog and founder of Traziende Films, said in the context of the International Film Festival of Valle de Bravo (Valle Film Fest), that series —along with cinema— have brought new interesting doors and platforms to young talents, which allow the audience to find new types of storytelling and refresh the audiovisual offer. “Festivals are what allow us to find these new stories. In the end, I have a commitment, not only with the companies I belong to but with the audience, to always find cutting-edge products, innovative and attractive stories”.
He did not want to disclose information about the film and the series Bandidos produced by Traziende for Netflix due to their confidentiality agreements. “Both on the side of Traziende and Endemol Shine we have a very interesting relationship with Netflix and we work very well together. Good surprises are on the way. Both projects are still on the development table, they are collaboration projects with Netflix´s creative teams and if everything goes well, they will succeed this year.”
Regarding the projects with Endemol Shine Boomdog, Hijos de Tigre, El Asesor and Súbete a Mi Moto, he said that very soon announcements will be made. “These three projects will surely be made this year. Mauricio Ochmann is the main actor of El Asesor, but we will soon begin the casting; and in the other two, there are also certain ideas that are in an advanced phase.”
On the other hand, he commented that the development of the series on Sabina is running smoothly. “the work between BTF Media, Sony Music, and Endemol Shine Boomdog has been extremely close, we have advanced a great deal. Joaquín´s stories are amazing, they are crazy”.
