Leonardo Zimbrón, Head of Fiction Programming at Endemol Shine Boomdog, expressed that he is working on consolidating the company´s fiction area and that he would like to close the year with four or five projects in motion. “But I don´t want to hurry this first stage of my collaboration with Endemol Shine Boomdog, that will have to be one of planting the stories. Some of them are on their way, they were already in the development process, but I must look for new ones, and this process is not immediate. I believe in slow cooking,” said Zimbrón. The advisor, with Mauricio Ochmann, is one of the projects already underway.
He explained that, although Endemol Shine Boomdog is recognized for it non-scripted TV works, it also has a very important job in international fiction projects, “they might have started just a short time ago, but they did it with the right foot,” he said, after remembering the good role El Vato and Nicky Jam have done. “Now we are going to have to respond to that wave with more and better projects”.
Likewise, he explained that he is simultaneously organizing the Endemol Shine Boomdog fiction area, for now with creative collaborators, and they will gradually incorporate both collaborators as well as plant personnel, according to the needs that the dynamics impose. “Meanwhile, we are collaborating with creatives from different companies. But for me right now, the important thing is to find the stories. To open doors to creatives in Latin America, Spain, and the US, so they bring their stories, in the hope that we will be able to collaborate with them.”
