Enrique Teuteló joins WXTV Univision 41 of NY

WXTV Univision 41, of New York, announced that journalist Enrique Teuteló has joined the news team as anchor of Noticias Univision 41 Al Despertar.Teuteló joins anchor Merijoel Durán and reporter Sandra O’Neill on Al Despertar beginning Monday, June 27, 2011.The morning news program airs weekdays from 5am to 7am on WXTV Univision 41, and from 7am to 8am on WFUT/WFTY TeleFutura 67/68.“We are thrilled to have such an outstanding journalist join the WXTV news team. Enrique brings a wealth of news experience to Noticias Univision 41 and will be a great addition to the New York area’s leading Spanish-language news team,” said Norma Morato, news director, WXTV Univision 41.Teuteló began his career on broadcast television in 2000 as a general assignment reporter for KXLN Univision 45 Houston and later became the weekend news anchor for KXLN’s newscast.
