Estrella TV has released its findings of a study of Hispanic television viewers nationwide, prepared by the research firms Motivo Insights and IPSOS OTX. Conducted with in-person interviews and online surveys, the study questioned Spanish-speaking viewers of all US Hispanic networks across the country. Key findings included Estrella TV identified as one of the networks viewers tune in first to when watching television, and also that they are watching it more today than networks they were watching a year ago. Also, Estrella TV was considered the number one network that related personally to those surveyed, beating both Univision and Telemundo, and was ranked as the most valued (though tied with Univision). As far as demographics for the survey respondents, EstrellaTV viewers are more likely to own a home, possess higher average household incomes and are more educated than viewers of other networks. They are also 50% more likely to try new products and go on to encourage family and friends to try the products or services that they like.
