EstrellaTV announced that its hit talent search show Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento recently resumed production amid new COVID-19 safety protocols.
Following California’s recently issued COVID-19 Best Practices Guide for Television and Film and the CDC’s recommended safety guidelines, the network has established rigorous sanitary, social distancing and safety measures to resume production of its #1 hit series Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento, which has been modified to adapt to the current health crisis.
New quarter-final episodes started airing Thursday, July 8 and will continue airing M-F 8P/7P C on EstrellaTV.
Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento, EstrellaTV’s flagship talent show, got a set redesign and facelift to reflect newly adopted social distancing standards. The new set features innovative virtual screens to accommodate a remote audience and contestants’ family members’ participation via video conferencing technology. The show’s new closed set has been designed with safety as a top priority, and production staff is limited to essential personnel only.
“Ensuring the safety of our crew, talent and contestants has always been of utmost importance to EstrellaTV. We are excited to get back on the air with new episodes and to move forward with our quarter-finals, which we had to put on hiatus due to the unprecedented pandemic that has affected us all. Our new set design follows strict social distancing guidelines, and we are taking every possible measure to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all those involved in making this show,” said Ivan Stoilkovich, EVP, Television Programming at EstrellaTV.
