After more than 20 years, Felipe De Stefani left Warner Bros. Discovery. He held several executive roles within the company, the most recent as Head of Marketing for LatAm, building and consolidating the marketing area for the region, in addition to his role as country manager for Argentina.
Felipe joined the former Turner office in Buenos Aires in 2001 as Marketing Director for the Southern Cone and quickly oversaw the business development area.
From there, he developed a career between Atlanta and Latin America that included several positions that positively impacted the business and the teams under his wing. In addition he was also responsible for the pan-regional management of Kids, then led the trend channels, and continued as senior VP for the Ad sales Latam team, while continuing his successful tenure as Argentina’s general manager.
As Country Manager of the office in Argentina, Felipe was part of the team that handled the negotiation process with AFA for the acquisition of 50% of the rights of Argentinian soccer games. His industry expertise was key in the transformation and integration process between Turner, HBO and Warner Bros. in that country.
“We are very grateful for his commitment, passion and pragmatism. Without a doubt, the work that he did during all these years leaves an important mark on WBD and on each of the people with whom he worked,” said Fernando Medin, President of WBD LatAm / Us Hispanic.
“These 22 years have been years of success and great learning, and I have nothing but words of gratitude for the company and all my colleagues,” said De Stefani.
