For the first time, Telemundo Global Studios and A+E Studios will produce together a drama series in Spanish

For the first time, Telemundo Global Studios (TGS) and A+E Studios are partnering to produce a Spanish-language drama series, Todos los Nombres de Aura (The Many Names of Aura), starring international star Blanca Soto and created and written by Luis Zelkowicz (El Señor de los Cielos).

Karen Barroeta, EVP of Production and Development, Telemundo Global Studios; Mari Urdaneta, CEO of 200% Media; John Pollak of Allied Management Group; Barry Jossen and Tana Jamieson of A+E Studios will be the executive producers.

“This is the first time that TGS has reached an agreement of this magnitude combining the experience of an international studio like A+E, the know-how in Latin America, and the Hispanic market of our studio. We are sure that this winning combination will mark a before and after in the co-production of content that no longer has language or geographic barriers,” said Barroeta.

“This is part of our 200% mission: to unite the Latin and the American worlds to create great content that makes it more global from the beginning; to give the best of each side: the best of Telemundo Global Studios, of an A+E Studios, of a writer like Luis Zelkowicz, and of a leading actress like Blanca Soto, which has excited John (Pollak ) and me the most about this, and that we have been working for many months to bring together two great studios. This is proof of a project with a completely 200% DNA,” said Urdaneta.

“We are excited to work with A+E on a series that takes place within a family of scammers led by a suspicious, beautiful, and very resourceful woman when setting up her scams. (…) because she depicts herself under different names and looks,” Barroeta added about the story based on her idea.
