Two former high executives of Endemol Shine Latino, Mauricio Piccone, former Executive VP, and Sergio Lazarov, former Production VP, launched Studio Pacífico, a boutique production company.

They both have vast knowledge of the different aspects of the business, since they produced for important clients such as Netflix, Telemundo, Univision, Televisa, Azteca, Sony and Turner and have been at the head of successful entertainment programs like: Big Brother, MasterChef, Mira Quién Baila and Todo o Nada, among others. In fiction, they produced two seasons of El Vato and more recently for Netflix, Nicky Jam: El Ganador.

Piccone has 25 years of experience in the entertainment business and Lazarov is a renowned executive producer, showrunner and director of well-known franchises like X factor, Got Talent, The Voice, and The Apprentice.

“We are thrilled with this new stage, we are certain that we are bringing to the market new projects with very interesting topics. The advantage of being a production boutique is that it gives us the possibility to adapt to clients´ needs and allow them to trust that their projects are in good hands,” said Piccone.

Studio Pacífico offers fiction, comedy, science fiction, anime, documentaries and original entertainment series, such as the series La Muralla, developed in partnership with Ecuavisa Internacional.

The production company also has a strategic Alliance with the Venezuelan director Hernán Jabes and the producer Adrian Geyer to produce fiction series like Thanatos and Sin Prórroga, and they have participated in their upcoming film Jezebel, currently in post-production.

In the anime genre, they are developing two series together with a Japanese studio. Regarding original formats, they have many, including The documentary series Coloring the World by OKUDA, the reality Models and Rock, the competition program The Nap and the interview program Miami Vibes.
