Nastascha Contreras| 21 de enero de 2016

Former MTV Networks Vice Chairman and Nickelodeon Networks President, Herb Scannell, is joining Latin Everywhere’s Board of Advisors where he will play an integral role in the expansion of the Latino digital media company’s Pongalo OTT platform, as well as its Pongalo YouTube and social media channels. Scannell’s advisory role accompanies his concurrent investment in the company. With the company set to announce several major media partnerships in 2016, Scannell comes aboard at a time when Latin Everywhere has built a comprehensive understanding of Latinos’ digital behavior in both Spanish and English through its Pongalo YouTube network and its ad-supported Pongalo OTT platform. The company will soon add a subscription (SVOD) offering to its OTT platform. “From my days of putting Dora the Explorer on Nickelodeon to now getting involved with Latin Everywhere, I’ve always thought that Latino audiences deserve more and better choices. Latino audiences are underserved in digital media, and I like what the Latin Everywhere guys are doing,” said Scannell.”It’s an honor to officially bring Herb into our family, especially as we gear up to add an SVOD offering to Pongalo’s current ad-supported OTT audience. There’s simply no one in the business who’s better at creating ground-breaking audience experiences than Herb,” said Chairman Rich Hull.
