FOX Deportes has just opened its new studios in Mexico City in partnership with Mediapro. These facilities are the first independent studios in Mexico used by the channel (previously they worked with FOX Sports Mexico).
The new facilities will host the new shows Total Sports 360 (8pm, 11pm and 1am), an hour-long overview of the latest news in sports; and Punto final, with spirited debates around the latest topics in Mexican soccer, FIFA competitions, the UEFA Champions League, etc., that is broadcast every night at 12am.
In addition, the channel has recently renovated its main studios in Los Angeles. “The new shows will allow the channel to join our efforts in Mexico and the US, as it will feature talent from both studios. The facilities also open at the perfect time to host the coverage of the Major League Baseball World Series, Liga MX playoffs, NFL football, and the World Cup,” said Carlos Sánchez, EVP, and general manager of FOX Deportes.
“We are proud and excited to open the new FOX Deportes studio facilities in Mexico City. We’re confident that our new daily shows, Punto Final and Total Sports 360, will quickly become our audience’s favorites. The studio, which comes at the same time as the launch of our completely renovated state-of-the-art studio in Los Angeles, marks a significant moment for our channel. We are close to the end of our 25th anniversary as the first Spanish-language sports network in the US. At a time when many channels are downsizing, FOX Deportes continues to grow and evolve in its mission to serve our audience with the best sports content,” Sánchez pointed out.
