The journalistic team of France 24 in Spanish is led by Álvaro Sierra
France 24, the French network of international current events will broadcast its version in Spanish for Latin America starting Tuesday, September 26.
France 24 in Spanish has facilities and an office located in Bogota and is made up of a team of young journalists from all Latin America, under the direction of the Colombian journalist Álvaro Sierra.
It also has a broad network of correspondents throughout the entire continent and the rest of the world. Likewise, it works in close collaboration with a team based in Paris, in charge of the contents of France and Europe.
Additionally, the new channel will benefit from the experience of the RFI newsroom in Spanish, radio station that, alike France 24, belongs to the group France Médias Monde and is very present in Latin America. Both networks will have co-produced releases that will be broadcast on television and radio.
The channel will have six hours of programming a day, in two-time slots, morning and afternoon. The remaining slots will be completed with programs in French or English.
The editorial content in Spanish will offer a French gaze upon international current events that is a characteristic of France 24, saving an important place for the topics related to Latin American countries.
