Sheila Hall Aguirre, VP of Content Distribution and Sales of Formats for Latin America, the Caribbean, and US Hispanic at FremantleMedia International, who has been in the company for 20 years, was at Conecta Fiction & Entertainment with her colleagues Sophie Taylor-Gooby and Christian Vesper from the London office, and Manuel Martí from Fremantle Mexico, as well as with her partners from Fábula Chile and The Immigrant.
She commented that they would like to work with them on the recent project announced by Fábula, Santa María, as they did with La Jauría, Señorita 89, El Refugio. She recalled that with Fábula they have a first-look agreement. “Thy have been very good partners”.
She mentioned they are about to announce several projects they have with Fabula and The Immigrant.
She also said that just this year Fremantle has already acquired several production companies, including Eureka in Australia and 12 production companies in the Nordic countries. Additionally, they have The Apartment, Wildside, Miso Film, and others where they have a shareholding.
