During the launching of Star+ in Latin America, Gonzalo Fiure, responsible for entertainment at Disney Latin America, highlighted the service’s content offer, emphasizing that many original and exclusive productions for the platform are being made in the region.
“We have a very broad catalog since it includes all the series and films of our different entertainment companies, such as ABC, FX, 20th Television, among others. However, the audience was unsure about our original content, we will have a lot of that. Our content is going to be extremely good, high-quality, and highly relevant. As long as we continue this principle as a company, the public will want to subscribe to Star+,” he informed.
In addition, and something that Star+ has promoted even before its launching in the region is that it will be the only streaming platform that will have all the seasons of The Simpsons.
Among the Latin American content, Fiure highlighted the Brazilian criminal series Impuros; No Fue mi Culpa (Mexico); and Santa Evita and No Fue mi Culpa of Argentina.
He also reported everything that has been invested in the Latin American series, including having hired more than 130 actresses and actors of great trajectory and recognition, from eight countries in the region.
