Hallmark Media is enhancing the reach of its programming to serve more Spanish-speaking audiences with its new channel, Hallmark en Español.
The channel features a curated library of over 130 Hallmark original movies and the first six seasons of Hallmark Channel’s fan-favorite series When Calls the Heart, all dubbed in Spanish.
Hallmark en Español will be available on HITN and across streaming platforms including Canela.TV, EstrellaTV, Plex, PlutoTV, Samsung TV Plus, Tubi, and Xumo Play.
“The success of our first distribution deal of Hallmark movies in Spanish a couple of years ago proves there’s a tremendous appetite for Hallmark’s content in Spanish,” said Lauri McGarrigan, SVP of Streaming Distribution, Business Development and Operations for Hallmark Media.
Hallmark movie titles available on Hallmark en Español will spotlight a wide range of themes and seasonal celebrations, from romance to friendship, to weddings, to holidays, and more.
“Hallmark movies have a universal quality that tends to resonate with Hispanic audiences due to our focus on themes such as family, love, traditions, and community,” added McGarrigan. “Hallmark en Español allows us to deliver these stories in-language and further enhance the accessibility and impact of Hallmark’s heartfelt and uplifting narratives on Hispanic viewers.”
Many of the original Hallmark movies on Hallmark en Español feature Hispanic-led talent, including notable actors, William Levy (South Beach Love), Rosalyn Sánchez (Taste of Summer), Juan Pablo Di Pace (Raise a Glass to Love), Alexa PenaVega (Taking a Shot at Love), and Carlos PenaVega (Love at Sea).
