With a 10% market share, Imagen Televisión celebrated its first anniversary and their first upfront, where they announced the production of eight original fiction and entertainment contents for 2018, as well as the special coverage of next year´s two most relevant events: The Russia Soccer World Cup and President Elections.
“Before being a production and content-generating company, we are a service company, which allows us to solve needs and understand requirements to find the formulas that lead us to great results. We are a multi-platform content factory,” commented Olegario Vázquez Aldir, general director of Grupo Empresarial Ángeles, the company that owns Imagen Televisión.
The executive explained that the future of TV is clear, and from 1993 to this date, “36 million people have been added as potential audience. These millions are equivalent to the population of countries like Canada, Venezuela or Poland, which indicates the huge market that has been added”.
During the event that gathered more than 500 people in the facilities of Ciudad Imagen, they announced the coverage of the Russia Soccer World Cup, under the responsibility of the team in charge of the program Adrenalina, as well as the multiplatform coverage of the 2018 elections, led by Ciro Gómez Leyva.
In production, they will continue with the acquisition of international contents, and the screen will also have original fiction and entertainment production to complement what is already being aired, such as Sale El Sol, ¡Qué Importa!, De Primera Mano and telenovelas like ¡Muy Padres!.
