“Mexico continues to be one of the countries that purchases more Spanish titles. Also, increasingly more US Hispanic channels bet on our series,” stated Miguel García, Sales manager for Latin America at Imagina International Sales.
In the next few months, the gallega series Serramoura can be seen on an open broadcast channel in US Hispanic, the same as the thriller Vis a Vis (Locked Up, 24×70’ / 35×50’), which has been the series that has sold the most in 2016 from the distributor’s catalogue. “The great success in Europe has helped with its export to other territories. Today, the Globomedia series can be seen in more than 25 countries worldwide, including all Latin America,” emphasized García.
Together with Vis a Vis, in Mipcom 2016, Imagina International Sales will present several fiction programs: Lifeline (Pulsaciones, 10×60´), a thriller to be launched in 2017; Six Sisters (Seis Hermanas, 400×50´), a daily dramatic series by the creators of Grand Hotel and Velvet; Night and Day (Nit i dia, 13×50´), thriller in which a French pathologist is torn between solving a crime or keeping her life stable; and Olmos & Robles (season 2, 18×70´), in which two competing officials are forced to work together.
The gameshow Crush (50´ daily episodes); and Soccer Cities (weekly 30´ episodes) -a lifestyle program that combines soccer, travelling and cooking- complete the offer.
