Imagina US: New block of series on Pasiones in the U.S. doing great

Fernanda Merodio, senior director of Affiliate Sales and Marketing of Imagina US, announced to PRODU several news including the September launch of Hola TV, the introduction of a block of series for channel Pasiones, and the changes at LFC La Familia, the recent addition to Imagina US’s portfolio of channels.“We’re doing great with the new block of series we premiered on Pasiones in the U.S. The block is one hour a day, Monday through Friday, featuring series from Argentina, Peru, and Chile, among others, to bring diversity to the grid. The series are episodic and we try to offer variety both in genre and country of origin,” said Merodio.Regarding Hola TV, she said she expects it will launch in September. “We partnering with Spain’s Hola, but Imagina will be solely in charge of distribution and some of the production,” added Merodio.Imagina US has been operating channel LFC La Familia (formerly known as La Familia Cosmovisión), since December of last year. The channel is owned by Inspiration Networks. “Imagina US has been 100% responsible for carrying out a total channel overhaul, with new brand, new name, and new programming. We reach 1.7 million homes in the U.S. and we look to grow our distribution and our audience,” said Merodio.
