In the context of the US presidential election, PRODU visited the facilities of Imagina US in New York to interview Juan Pablo Santos, senior VP of Content and New Businesses at Imagina US.
Santos, who has a 20-year path in the industry, commented that the agreement with HITN is that they contribute the facilities and “we have our experience in remaking them with new equipment and our know-how in setting up businesses.”
In June 2016 they started to offer their services to TyC Sports for the Copa América. From the terrace of the studios in Brooklyn, they aired two hours live for a month.
They also offered services to La Sexta, Telemadrid and Canal Sur, among others, for the 2016 US Presidential Election.
“Here on the terrace we are going to have permanent studios made with boat containers,” 1,300 square feet. It is an environmental project with solar and eolic energy.”
The facilities Imagina US offers in New York, and the ones in Miami as well, are available to the international market. They have “playout services for channels, postproduction, and connectivity to all the Imagina network.”
