One of the last markets of the year was installed on Monday, December 10 at the Católica University in Buenos Aires, Argentina and will remain until Friday 14. Ventana Sur, the most important audiovisual content fair in Latin America, celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Organized by the Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales (Incaa) and the Marché du Film-Festival de Cannes. It gathers in a single place different actors of the industry to foster co-production, financing, and international distribution of Latin American contents.

Each year, it receives more than 3000 accredited participants, including more than 500 buyers and sellers from all five continents, representatives from the most important international networks and platforms.

The market enables encounters with content producers in business days with pitching sessions and one on one meetings, as well as roundtables, workshops, talks and conferences on current topics and future vision.

Ralph Haiek, president of the Incaa, commented that the festival begins with a talk under the responsibility of Thierry Frémaux, Director of the Cannes Festival. He mentioned that this edition is successful once again, and it is also celebrating its tenth anniversary. “Hoping that prouducers can find in this networking their counterpart and we can show Latin American content worldwide”.
