INTI TV’s latest offering for cable companies, OTT and FAST channels includes programs on healthy living and ancestral techniques produced in Galapagos, such as Transición hacia la Sanación with Alejandro Corchs; Searching for Answers with Iris Müller and Exploring Galapagos with Toya Montoya.
Andrés López, Head of Marketing at INTI TV, will be at Content Americas in Miami following up on meetings held during MIP Cancun and with new clients. The content they offer, most produced in Spanish, is being dubbed into English. In addition, for 2024, they are developing content in English, thinking about the US Hispanic audience. “We are going to explore dubbing the content into Portuguese because we saw a lot of interest from companies in Brazil in this niche,” he explained.
INTI TV reaches 30 countries in America, the US, and Europe. It is available on linear, pay TV, on Samsung Serie+ FAST channel 2100 in Mexico, and LG Channels in Spain, channel 1800. “We are working to grow on FAST, as well as other channels within FAST,” he stated.
“The idea is to mine this theme, which is very attractive for many cable companies, specifically content recorded in the Galapagos, and do it under the perspective of INTI, made with deep respect for nature. We ask for permission so that we could all coexist: fauna, nature, and production team seeking the lowest possible [environmental] impact during the process,” he pointed out.
Transición hacia la Sanación, which premiered in August, is an eight-episode reality show in which Alejandro Corchs invites six micro-influencers from various Latin American countries to the Galapagos, helping them to discover their limitations, how to overcome them, as in the process of reviewing the stages of their life and where they want to go. In Exploring Galapagos, activist Tonya Montoya interacts with people about living in communion with nature while getting to know the Galapagos. “The goal is to have a simple and healthy life and be part of the environment,” explained López.
He mentioned that much of INTI’s content addresses ancestral techniques to connect with the earth through a mentally and physically healthy life, including good nutrition and habits to reach a higher quality of life. Some of the channel’s content includes using temazcal, ingredients, and food recipes with natural foods, meditation, and yoga.
“We believe this niche can grow because it centers on a prevalent need today: valuing one’s own life, nature, and the planet’s fate. Trying to be well and feel good in a world that moves too fast,” he said.
