Letca Films and its director, founder, and president, Jorge Colón, have managed to set up a platform where they offer remote production services based on the laws of each state during the pandemic in the US. Colón was invited to the #PRODUprimetime space with Ríchard Izarra.
“Brands and networks are a little concerned, trying to be creative so that people don’t have to go out of their homes. You know that in crisis, creativity is queen, setting up ideas that are good for doing remote production” expressed Colón, who added that he has been working for 30 years in the area and 24 in the US. He mentioned as an example of creativity, that this week there was an advertising casting where talents self-directed themselves and Letca provided all the tech part. “It was very nice and worked out” he added.
He highlighted that, along with continuing to support advertising clients, they also keep developing all the content part. “We have several projects underway with series and a couple of feature films. I feel that this is the opportunity to write, push, think about what we didn’t have time to do, and at the same time, support the industry”. Colón is very concerned about, and is working on supporting the industry”. Colón is very concerned and working on supporting the crew, “the people who work day to day in the advertising and content industry”. He made a call so that as soon as we come out of the crisis, the industry comes together and supports these workers.
