Marrero: We work with a 360º package
For two decades DIRECTV Latin America, through its signal DIRECTV Sports, delivers to the region the FIFA Soccer World Cup. “With our sports signal DIRECTV Sports, we have historically aired the main global sports events such as the Copa America, the Olympic Games, the EuroCup, and more recently, the Confederations Cup, that is the prelude to the FIFA World Cup,” highlighted José Luis Marrero, AVP Sales Operations, Ad Sales at DIRECTV Latin America.
For the next few months, DIRECTV Sports will witness the main European leagues: League 1 from France, League Santander and the England Soccer League (Premier), as well as the Spanish Super Cup. For 2018 the company will take the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia with huge production and tech deployment. “We will additionally offer an extraordinary news coverage of the main national teams from Latin America on our multi-platform,” commented Marrero.
Going beyond sports, DIRECTV Latin America commercially represents the Food Network channel, offers personalized solutions to its advertising clients, and has 30 of the main global signals, where its clients can insert advertising.
“The strategy we have at DIRECTV is mainly to listen to the client, understand his need and work with a 360º package that allows us, with a media mix, to take the best planning for the brand to reach its goals,” he emphasized.
