The dramedy La Suerte de Loli original from Telemundo Global Studios will be the first production in which Karen Barroeta, who recently joined the team as EVP Production and Development, participates as executive producer, accompanying Marcos Santana, president of Telemundo Global Studios in the production.
“This is one of the most complicated genres to develop from the script to the production and shooting. We decided to choose this genre for our new production because it goes hand in hand with our audience that is looking for ways to be entertained with fresh content, and here in Telemundo, we are always concerned and willing to give them the best content they are looking for with the high-quality Telemundo seal,” expresses Santana.
Santana clarifies that this dramedy is an original production by Telemundo Global Studios “and will be shot 100% by us”.
Regarding Enemigo Íntimo, which had its debut June 22, Santana comments that they started shooting it at the end of last year and finished just before the start of the pandemic. “All the post-production work has been done in lockdown, which has been a great learning experience for all of us. We are very proud of the result and it will undoubtedly mark an accent on the screen. We shot it in Mexico and Spain with a first-rate cast,” he highlighted.
Regarding Dime Quién Soy, he explained that it is a series that will generate “a before and an after. We are extremely proud to be part of this project and that Telemundo International Studios is co-producing the series,” he ended.
