La Isla, El Reality is back on Azteca America with 18 new contestant
La Isla, El Reality, the reality show that featured the most challenging feats of endurance, generated a lot of buzz when it aired in 2012. Now La Isla, El Reality is back on Azteca America with 18 new contestants, among them twelve celebrities, braving the riskiest competition show on Spanish-language television and there can only be one winner. La Isla, El Reality 2013 premieres Monday, September 2 at 8pm ET/7pm CDT, on Azteca America.Among the celebrities who will be venturing into this perilous competition are four talented Mexican personalities: Geraldine Bazán, who has acted in telenovelas including La Mujer de Judas; actress Michelle Vieth, who recently appeared on the reality show México Baila and on the hit series La Otra Cara del Alma; Paco de la O, television host as well as a theater and telenovela actor; Alan, popular singer from the group Magneto, and the beautiful and athletic Maritere Alessandri, host of ¡Al Extremo! The island will also welcome Matías Novoa, Chilean actor and model; Ceci Ponce, the Argentine actress who recently appeared in Los Rey; Cuban actor Alberto Guerra; and Tania Rincón, host of the Mexican television program Venga la Alegría. Also among the celebrity competitors will be several professional athletes including Mexican judoka and Olympic competitor Vanessa Zambotti; Mexican wrestler Shocker; and Daniel Bad Boy Rosas, the Mexican boxer who won the reality show Azteca Round 2 in 2010.In addition to these celebrities, six challengers will also compete for fame and fortune: Ana Teresa Ransanz, Ricardo Alcalá, Juan Carlos Somoza, Carlos Pulido, Karen González, and Cristina Rangel. The second season of La Isla, El Reality will be hosted by Alejandro Lukini.
