La Reina del Sur continues breaking records for Telemundo

On the heels of announcing its best quarter in history, Telemundo continues its record-breaking momentum, reporting La Reina del Sur beat Univisión, ABC, NBC and TeleFutura for the week of April 4th, among Adults 18-34.The telenovela also beat a number of English-language broadcast programs among Adults 18-49 throughout the week. Telemundo averaged more total viewers (Persons 2+) and Adults 18-49 than any other week in network history during Monday through Friday and Monday through Sunday prime.La Reina del Sur continues to climb and delivered yet another new high for a weekly performance across all key demographics, including nearly 3.3 million total viewers (Persons 2+) (3,262,000) and close to 2.2 million adults 18-49 (2,197,000). The telenovela also delivered its best performance ever for an individual telecast on Monday, April 4 with 3,491,000 Total Viewers (Persons 2+) and 2,374,000 Adults 18-49.According to Nielsen ratings, Telemundo delivered nearly 1.6 million total viewers (Persons 2+) (1,598,000) and 975,000 Adults 18-49 in Monday through Friday prime. Telemundo’s 7-11pm delivery garnered a 29% share of the Spanish-language television audience (defined as Telemundo, Univisión and TeleFutura) for the week among Adults 18-49.
