Día de Muertos) and will premiere in theaters in the United States on April 7th and in Mexico on April 12th.

La Usurpadora, The Musical, will bring the iconic story to the big screen, turning a classic melodrama into a modern movie musical. Capitalizing on the current nostalgia for all things 90’s, the soundtrack will feature the cast performing 15 of the biggest Latin music hits from that era.

Featuring dialogue and music in both Spanish and English, the movie is full of humor, emotion, and great storytelling, all underscored by Latin hits including La Vida Es Un Carnaval, Mi Tierra, Dame Otro Tequila, Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, Vuelve, Con Zapatos de Tacón, Cosas Del Amor, among many others.
La Usurpadora, The Musical, is an adaptation of one of the most successful soap operas of all time – broadcast in over 125 countries and translated into 24 languages in the late 90’s.
