Luis Guillermo Camacho, Content and Production VP at Azteca 7, was emphatic in stating that he was absolutely convinced that the new live programming proposal is going to work because it is new and innovative.
He made these statements to PRODU in Azteca Tlalpan´s studio 10, while showing the sets of two new contents: Cocineros Mexicanos, a FremantleMedia format, a two hour magazine that has guests with the excuse of cooking, recipes and a shopkeeper with his dog —one of the main attractions—, a cook who travels all over Mexico with daily notes from different cities, showing the enormous variety of Mexican gastronomy, and other kinds of information.
The other set was the one for Enamorándonos, a dating show, a Turkish format by Global Agency, co-produced with Sony/Teleset, and which he also predicts will be a success.
“We have bet everything on this new proposal. It is a new way of doing TV, competing. It is a new innovative formula. Homemakers will feel these programs are theirs and will use them not only for entertainment but also for her education and benefit. That is Azteca 7´s bet,” he said.
