Discovery en Español announced that rating results for its Lunes de Motores programming has positioned the network in first place during prime time among Hispanic Pay-TV networks. Lunes de Motores is the networks new programming block dedicated to the transformation of cars feeding viewers passion for restoration, technology, innovation and real life stories. According to Nielsen, El Dúo Mecánico was the number 1 show on prime time last Monday, April 21st, among all Hispanic pay-TV networks with 246,000 viewers, P18-49. Also included in the programming block was Carreras Prohibidas, a series that features vehicles – and their drivers who participate at one of the largest undercover street racing rings in America, and which was # 3 with 142,000 viewers, on Monday, April 21st at 10pm, P18-49. Finally, Overhaulin, a returning series where Chip Foose transform one persons old car into a surprise that changes his life, also helped place the network as the leading channel on Monday, April 21st, with a total of 119,000 viewers at 8pm, P18-49. Driven by this programming effort, the network was positioned as the #1 Hispanic Pay-TV channel on Monday, April 21st, from 7pm to 11pm, P-18-49.
