MarVista to produce 10 original Spanish-language movies for TelevisaUnivision’s ViX+

FOX Entertainment’s MarVista Entertainment and TelevisaUnivision have entered into a major development and production deal involving ten exclusive original Spanish-language movies to be produced for ViX+, the premium subscription-based (SVOD) tier of Vix, the world’s largest Spanish-language streaming service.

As part of the agreement, MarVista will produce ten original Spanish-language films across family, comedy, romance, and holiday genres that will stream exclusively on ViX+, which is scheduled to launch in the second half of the year.

Featuring top creative and top on-screen talent from Latin America, TelevisaUnivision will hold worldwide streaming distribution rights for all ten films produced under the deal and MarVista will oversee global distribution outside of streaming and second windows for all platforms.
