Mediapro is very clear on the fact that Latin America is a very important territory to be developed, and that Mexico is a key market, therefore, since the middle of the year, Óscar López is leading the operations in this country.
López, who is CEO of Mediapro Mexico, commented that this year they started with four projects, but that in the future they want to develop the entire Mediapro portfolio in that country. For now, they signed a contract for five years with the Mexican Soccer Federation to do the VAR (video arbitrage in Spanish) and for two weeks they have done it officially in the games of the Mexican League.
They are also developing the League of Professional Video Games in Mexico, and already produced the final games of the Clash Royale and League of Legends. Additionally, Mediapro Exhibitions has set up Miradas a la Ciudad: Espacio de Reflexión Urbana, and the offer for the dead in theZócalo of Mexico City.
Another project they have, in an agreement with Comtec, is the provision of broadcasting services of sports games to TV channels that require it.
In a very short time, Mediapro is positioning itself in the Mexican market with a very good response, stated López.
But these are not the only ones where they are expanding their operations this year. Chile and Bolivia are other territories in which they are consolidating themselves: In Chile, they just opened offices, after acquiring the rights of the Chilean team for the 2022 preliminary games, and in Bolivia, they are in the production of the Bolivian Soccer League.
