Mexican actor Sebastián Zurita joins Telemundo Studios as the star of new novela La Impostora

Telemundo Studios announced that film and television actor Sebastián Zurita will join the network’s talented roster of artists as the star of the upcoming original production La Impostora. Son of well-known actors Humberto Zurita and Christian Bach, the young leading man is known for his roles in the telenovelas En Nombre del Amor and Corazón Salvaje. He made his television debut at age 11 in the iconic telenovela Cañaveral de Pasiones, produced by his famous parents. On the big screen, his most recent films include Ciudadano Buelna and Ángel Caído. “We are very glad to welcome Sebastián Zurita to our network and we are confident that our audience will be drawn to this story,” commented Joshua Mintz, executive vice president of Scripted Programming and general manager of Telemundo Studios.Sebastián Zurita is one of Mexico’s best-known young actors, recognized for his talent and professionalism. An acting student at the Lee Strasberg Institute, he is currently producing his first full-length feature film and appearing as the lead role onstage in the play Cama Para Dos, directed by Manolo Caro.La Impostora is set to begin filming in Mexico, with more information about production coming soon.
