Guadalupe D’Agostino, director of Development and Sales of Miami Open Media, arrived at MIP Cancun with a series of RCTV International ready to sell and looking for partners and buyers for three projects under development.
The series of 13 episodes, Almas en Pena, by Martin Hahn, has been very receptive to other festivals and they took the trailer to Cancun.
D’Agostino also announced their partnership with DDM, the Mexican production house of Joel Núñez, who has made feature films with actors such as Cristián de la Fuente and Jacqueline Andere, such as Siete Años de Matrimonio, Enamorándome de Abril, Motel Acqua and a series of documentaries. “We are offering these films worldwide and looking for partners for the three projects we have with them.”
The projects include a film with Dulce María, the series Escrito con Sangre about serial killers of Mexico in the 40s, 50s, and 60s, and a series of comedy co-starred by Mara Escalante (Nosotros Los Guapos).
