Show Business TV was launched in Venezuela, a 24-hour channel that comes from the program created 30 years ago by Miguel Sierralta, president and CEO of the company. Together with the launch, Sierralta Entertainment celebrated its 30th anniversary.
The channel, specialized in the world of entertainment, is aired in Venezuela through Inter (Channel 64), NetUno, Roku, and soon on Simple TV. Additionally, it is distributed in Mexico through Dish Network and Samsung TV, and in the US on Local Now and ViX.
“The TV program was born on channel 8 and its first host was Raquel Lares. The journalist Roland Carreño conducted special reports, such as the coverage of Miss Universe. I transferred the space to Miami where it was aired internationally with Carolina Cristancho as its host, co-producer, and partner. We held emblematic interviews and reached 25 countries at a time. It was always clear to me that the key to the success of Show business would be distribution in Latin America” explained Sierralta.
The executive also mentioned in his opening words that it is a moment of growth in Venezuela. “It is an industry that in this country can only grow. That is why we decided to launch this channel right now. There is huge potential, human talent, and great professionals in Venezuela who are going to help it return to what it was 30 years ago when we launched Show Business as a program”.
Show Business is a franchise as TV program that is aired through Antena 3 Internacional in Spain, on Televen in Venezuela, and on Mega TV in the US, with a reach of 7 million homes in all of Latin America.
