Primo TV, owned by Vme Media, will broadcast in the US the animated series The Drakers (26×26′); Dinofroz 1 & 2 (52×26′); and Bat Pat 2 (52×11′) after closing a deal with Mondo TV Studios, of Mondo TV Group. The license agreement runs beginning this month and for three years. The launch dates of the shows will be confirmed soon.
“We are constantly looking for high-quality children’s content with compelling stories and that captivate our viewers,” said Doris Vogelmann, VP of Programming and Operations at Vme Media Inc. “The three properties we have acquired from Mondo TV for Primo have all the components to be a success in our channel.”
Maria Bonaria Fois, CEO of Mondo TV Studios, assured that the agreement with Vme furthers her company’s goal of working with important partners in Latin America and the US. “We are delighted to bring these three entertaining animated series to Vme Media and we are confident that they will be very appealing to the children of the US.”
The Drakers, co-produced by Mondo TV and Ferrari, is an adventure series in which Chris and Fabri are two young Formula Kids drivers who compete in the Kids championship for the Drakers team.
In the first season of Dinofroz, co-produced by Mondo TV and Giochi Preziosi, Tom and his three 12-year-old schoolmates find a strange board game that transports them to a dimension ruled by dinosaurs. There they discover that Rockfroz, the bridge between Earth and the world of dinosaurs, is threatened by a villain. In the second season, Tom, along with his friends and his father, tries to save Rockfroz, threatened by mutant dragons.
Bat Pat 2 is a comedy animation series, an original co-production of Mondo TV Studios with Atlantyca Entertainment, RAI Ragazzi, and RTVE. It follows the spooky and comedic adventures of Bat Pat, a talking bat, and the Silver siblings—Rebecca, Leo, and Martin – as they solve mysteries. They come across supernatural creatures of the night that stalk, chase, and scream from every corner of their Fogville home.
